Yinibini Baby

Yinibini Baby specializes in creating unique and high-quality baby products, such as blankets, onesies, booties, bibs, burp clothes, dresses, and more. The company was founded by a mother who wanted to provide functional and stylish baby items for other parents. Not only that, but her products feature original illustrations that are based off of childhood stories and memories of her time growing up in Guyana. Ade + Ayo

The mission beyond Ade + Ayo is to introduce kids to the beauty of African design. When founder Temidayo Adedokun—originally from Nigeria—started working on her son’s nursery and wardrobe, she couldn’t find any products in the traditional colors or patterns of her home in Africa. A gap in the industry sparked a business idea for her. Now, Ade + Ayo manufacture clothing, nursery decor, toys, and accessories that exemplify African colors and also teach children about African traditions. 

Coco’Pie Clothing

Coco’Pie Clothing is a Black-owned business that aims to "show Black girls their awesomeness." CEO Shantae Pelt realized the Black of representation within children’s clothing, and wanted to create a way for Black girls to see images and drawings of themselves in a positive way. Their clothing—featuring onesies, tees, and sweatshirts—celebrates the beauty and diversity of Black culture.

The company was founded by a mother after she became pregnant, who wanted to provide key basics and items that were playful, effortless, and current. The company specializes in offering affordable and eco-friendly cloth diapers that help reduce waste from single-use disposable diapers. Alaffia

Alaffia specializes in natural and fairly traded body care products. The company was founded by Olowo-n’djo Tchala with the mission to empower communities and individuals in West Africa through their fair trade principles. All of their baby care products are made with natural and safe ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, jojoba seed oil, and sunflower seed oil. Plus, every time you buy a product, you're supporting the Alaffia Foundation, a nonprofit that seeks to "empower African communities through the advancement of Fair Trade, education, sustainable living and gender equality."

Stina & Mae

Stina and Mae specializes in eco-friendly baby products. The company was created when founder Mishell created a changing mat that helped prevent her son from touching gross public changing tables. Since then,  Stina and Mae has grown to offer a variety of products, such as diaper bags, burp cloths, and bibs. The company was founded by a husband and wife duo who originally created their flagship product—a teething mitt—that worked perfectly for their young daughter. Since then,  Darlyng & Co has grown to offer a variety of skincare products for babies and children, such as body wash, bubble bath, sunscreen, lotion, and more.
